Where are our products made?
Haus of Scents products are handmade and poured in Sydney, Australia.
What type of wax does Haus of Scents use?
We utilise a blend of pure coconut and soy wax. It is 100% vegan and does not contain herbicides, pesticides or petroleum.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, all shipments can only be delivered within Australia.
What type of wicks do you use?
Our wicks are made of cotton which feature braided paper fibers to enhance the rigidity of the material. Be sure to trim your wicks after every burn.
How do I take care of my candle?
- When burning the candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge. By doing this, your candle will burn evenly without tunnelling. Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Discontinue to burn when it is approximately 10mm of wax remaining.
- To ensure an even and smoke-free burn, trim your wick to about 5mm each time before lighting. When extinguishing your candle, use a snuffer or blow gently until the flame is out.
- Candles are sensitive to light and temperature. Keep them in a cool dry place and avoid direct sunlight. It is normal for your candle to discolour and this will not affect the quality of your candle.
